Q: What are the standard check-in and check-out times of the hotel?
A: The standard check-in time is 14:00 hrs and check-out time is at 12:00 hrs.
Q: Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
A: At Chanalai Hotels and Resorts the rates charged are per room although the cost may differ slightly for double and triple occupancy.
Q: Does my room reservation require any guarantee?
A: All room reservations require a credit card guarantee.
Q: How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?
A: To cancel your booking without incurring any charge, please contact the Reservations Department at least 14 days prior to your arrival. You will then be given a cancellation number. Please note that you must be booked on a â€™Best Available Rateâ€™ type as â€™Promotional Pre-Paidâ€™ rates are non-refundable.
Q: How many people can stay in one room?
A: Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three people. Please note that the third bed will be a rollaway bed with an additional charge of THB 1,000.
Q: Please advise in which room type can an extra bed be added?
A: At Chanalai Hotels and Resorts all rooms can accommodate extra bed.
Q: How much do I have to pay an additional person if I would like to add an extra bed?
A: At Chanalai Hotels and Resorts the charge for an additional adult with extra bed is THB 1,000 per person per night including buffet breakfast. An additional child age less than 4 years old will stay free of charge with buffey breakfast. Children between 4 - 12 years of age will be charged THB 250 per child for additional buffet breakfast when sharing the bed with parents.

A: We regret that animals are not allowed in our resorts.

A: All room types can be booked with or without breakfast.

A: It is sometimes possible to check in earlier (before 2 pm), however, this depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed. However, early check-in involves an additional cost as mentioned below:

A: Yes, all of our rooms are non-smoking (smoking is permitted only in balcony).

A: Guests are able to send and receive email at the Business Centre.
Q: What facilities are available for children?
A: Special children menus with light dishes as well as high chairs are available in all our restaurants. The kidâ€™s pool should be used only under parental supervision.

A: Baby cots are available on request.
Q: Are high chairs available in the restaurants?
A: Yes, we do have high chairs available in all our restaurants.
Q: Where is breakfast served and at what times?
A: Buffet breakfast is served in the Restaurant from 06:30 - 10:30 hrs.
Q: Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants?
A: A selection of vegetarian dishes is available in every outlet.
Q: Is a special menu available for children?
A: Yes, we have special menus for children in all restaurants.
Q: Do you have 24 hours room service?
A: No, we donâ€™t have 24 hours room service (Room service is available from 06:30 am till 10:30 pm.
Q: Can I connect to the Internet from my room?
A: Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
Q: Is there a swimming pool in the hotel?
A: Yes, all Chanalai Hotels and Resorts have minimum two (2) swimming pool and however, Chanalai Romantica Resort have only one swimming pool.
Q: Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?
A: Yes, Hairdryers are available in every guest room at Chanalai Hotels and Resorts.
Q: Do you have any special packages for honeymoons and anniversaries?
A: Special packages are available for guests celebrating a special occasion.
Q: Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?
A: Only Chanalai Garden Resort have tour desk to book excursions during your stay.
In other Chanalai Hotels and Resorts currently no tour desk available in-house, but we will be able to make recommendations according to your needs. However, there are many tour service providers are available within one (1) minute of walking distance from our resorts.
Q: Is a doctor available at the hotel?
A: We have a doctor on call 24 hours (Doctor fees may apply).
Q: Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?
A: Currency exchange facilities are available just in front of all our resorts.
Q: What is the currency in Thailand?
A: The currency in Thailand is Baht.
Q: Can baggage be stored at the hotel whilst I travel to another location in Thailand?
A: Hotel guests can use the storage facility at the Chanalai Hotels and Resorts free of charge if they spend at least one night at the hotel. However, guests will not be allowed to store the baggage whilst they travel to another location in Thailand.
Unfortunately, the storage facility service is not available for non-resident guests.
Q: What voltage do you use in Thailand?
A: The electricity voltage in Thailand is at 220 volts. Adaptors are available at the hotel upon request.
Q: What is the VAT refund system in Thailand?
A: Tourists are able to claim back the VAT on larger purchases when they exit the country. Most department stores provide the necessary forms for completion and will assist you.
Q: Is it safe to drink tap water in Thailand?
A: The tap water in Thailand is not potable. Complimentary drinking water is provided in all guest rooms.
Q: What is the weather like at different times of the year?
A: As a general guideline, the weather in Thailand is warm all year round. However, the weather is generally most pleasant from November to February when there are clear skies and sunshine. The hot season is from April and May, when temperatures reach their highest. The rainy season is between June and September although it does not rain every day and usually the rain only lasts for an hour or so in the evening.
Q: Are there any golf courses near the hotel?
A: Yes, there are many. The Red Mountain Golf Club and Phuket Country Club Golf Course are the nearest ones, being only 10 kms from the hotel.
Q: How far is the hotel from the downtown shopping areas?
A: It is around 15 minutes by taxi for Patong Shopping Area and approximately 30 minutes by taxi for Central Festival Shopping Mall or Old Phuket Town.
Q: Are you close to the theatres/entertainment venues?
A: Yes, It is around 15 minutes by taxi for SFX Cinema at Jungceylon in Patong Area and approximately 30 minutes by taxi for SFX Cinema at Central Festival Shopping Mall.
